Time is running out! Help support a new archives building!
Please contact your Legislators immediately.
In 2015 the General Assembly voted support for a new State Archives building, with funding to come from a deal to lease cell towers. But the lease deal collapsed, leaving the Archives building in limbo. This year, legislators are considering funding the new Archives building in the regular state budget. Your support is needed to encourage legislators to fund the State Archives building in the regular budget bill.
Please contact your state representative and state senator. Send a personal message—letter, email, phone call, tweet—to them. A polite and well-reasoned message is powerful.
